About the role

We are seeking physician‑scientists and clinicians at all career stages to join the newly established Shanghai Clinical Research and Trial Center, a state‑of‑the‑art public research hospital affiliated with ShanghaiTech University. Positions are tenure‑track or tenured faculty appointments offering the chance to shape a premier institution from its inception.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead independent research programs with protected research time.
• Provide high‑quality clinical care within multidisciplinary units.
• Translate scientific discoveries into clinical applications and collaborative projects.
• Mentor junior investigators and contribute to the growth of the academic community.
• For senior roles, direct laboratories, clinical departments, or flagship diagnostic and treatment centers.

Required profile

• Early‑career: MD/PhD or MD with rigorous training ready to launch an independent research career.
• Mid‑career: Proven record of independent research and clinical practice, seeking a dynamic platform for growth.
• Senior: Internationally recognized leader with sustained excellence in research, clinical practice, and mentorship.
