Planner – Materials & Supply Chain

About the role

The Planner will ensure that material supply aligns with production schedules and minimum stock levels, safeguarding assembly line continuity. This role focuses on delivering efficient, flexible solutions to meet production demands while protecting financial and operational performance indicators.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate SAP parameters for all assigned materials according to planning strategy.
• Monitor shipping compliance and due dates based on internal guidelines.
• Perform daily MD06 maintenance and address exception codes.
• Escalate supply‑chain risks promptly and accurately.
• Develop and sustain strong relationships with suppliers and internal support areas.
• Own material planning issues, including over‑ or under‑delivery, and implement contingency plans.
• Design and implement flexible solutions to improve business efficiency, including financial budgeting.
• Support production challenges with actionable plans and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and address discrepancies with logistics.
• Manage obsolescence, overstock governance, and charge‑back processes.
