PLC Engineer – Automation & Control Systems

About the role

The PLC Engineer designs, programs, implements, and maintains PLC‑based automation solutions to support manufacturing operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and reliability across production lines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC programs using Allen‑Bradley RSLogix, Studio 5000, and Mitsubishi GX‑Works3.
• Design PLC control architectures for new production lines and integrate them into existing systems.
• Support production and maintenance teams in resolving complex automation issues.
• Create maintenance documentation, training materials, and deliver technical training.
• Assist business units with automation projects, including RFP development, contractor engagement, and FAT/SAT validation.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards, safety regulations, and internal management systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechatronics or Control Systems Engineering.
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in automation and control systems.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Strong PLC programming skills (Allen‑Bradley required; Mitsubishi preferred).
• Experience with industrial robots such as Fanuc, Epson, Kuka, and Yaskawa.
• Knowledge of HMI programming (Proface), vision systems (Keyence, Cognex), servomotors (Festo, Mitsubishi, Panasonic), and industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Profibus).
• Ability to analyze data, solve problems, and support continuous improvement.
