PLM Engineer

About the role

Levi Strauss & Co. is seeking a PLM Engineer to drive the digital transformation of product development. You will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and optimizing the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system to enable seamless collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, and supply‑chain teams.

Key responsibilities

• Support end‑to‑end PLM implementation, including system setup, configuration, and customization.
• Integrate PLM solutions with other enterprise systems such as ERP and design tools.
• Maintain data integrity and consistency across PLM and connected systems.
• Develop and refine workflows, templates, and reports to improve product development processes.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement programs to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Provide technical support during go‑live and post‑deployment phases.
• Work with REST/SOAP APIs and middleware tools to ensure system interoperability.
• Troubleshoot PLM issues and optimize system performance.

Required profile

• Understanding of engineering processes, data governance, and change management.
• Hands‑on experience with PLM platforms, preferably FlexPLM.
• Experience leading PLM implementation or enhancement projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Required skills

• FlexPLM configuration, customization, and upgrades.
• Java, JSP, XML, and SQL.
• Windchill architecture knowledge.
• Integration experience with ERP systems such as SAP.
• REST and SOAP API development.
• Middleware tools for system integration.
