Principal Services Business Development

About the role

The Principal, Services Business Development will drive growth of Mastercard's Services portfolio across the North LAC Division, managing existing client relationships and expanding into new markets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead sales calls and new client development for Services in the Commercial and New Payment Flows business across Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean.
• Deliver against sales targets for existing accounts and contribute to Mastercard deal bids.
• Capture senior and mid‑level client needs, translate objectives into hypotheses, and structure work for complex projects.
• Leverage deep knowledge of Mastercard Services capabilities to propose innovative solutions.
• Participate in pitches, create persuasive written materials, and contribute to project delivery and knowledge management.

Required profile

• Proven B2B sales experience, preferably in data/analytics, loyalty or professional services.
• Experience selling solutions to C‑level clients and strong relationship‑management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets and drive revenue growth.
• Self‑starter with a collaborative, team‑oriented mindset.

Required skills

• Strong communication and persuasion skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders across markets and divisions.
