Procurement Logistics Manager – Mexico

About the role

The Procurement Logistics Manager will lead the implementation and management of the procurement strategy for the Mexico region, aligning with the global procurement framework. You will partner with business stakeholders to develop category strategies that drive value, cost savings, and sustainability across transportation, warehousing, and contract manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies for road, rail, ocean transport, warehousing, and 4PL services.
• Lead sourcing events, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier performance to achieve total cost of ownership targets.
• Maintain savings, cash flow, supply security, and sustainability metrics; report to the Global Direct Savings Program tracker.
• Support global and regional category leads with RFP creation, spend analysis, market research, and vendor consolidation.
• Collaborate with LAC Supply Chain, Global Logistics Procurement, Finance, Legal, and suppliers to identify cost‑reduction opportunities.
• Serve as primary contact for cross‑functional partners and strategic vendors, driving continuous improvement and technology adoption.
• Conduct monthly/quarterly business reviews with key suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of procurement experience focused on transportation, warehousing, or contract manufacturing, preferably in a multinational matrix environment.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and relationship‑building abilities.
