Procurement Specialist

About the role

China Three Gorges Latam is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join its Mexico team. The role oversees the procurement process for the company and its affiliates, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and timely acquisition of high‑quality goods and services.

Key responsibilities

• Consolidate and track procurement plans, providing precise data for decision‑making and ensuring tasks are completed on time and with high quality.
• Develop, review, and control procurement documents, manage contract circulation, archiving, and ledger updates, and support audits.
• Communicate and negotiate with suppliers, coordinate registration, quotations, evaluations, and performance reviews, and rigorously review contracts for accuracy and compliance.
• Provide guidance to internal departments, remove bottlenecks, support communication flow, reporting, and internal review meetings, and collaborate with IT to resolve system‑related procurement issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement or a related position.
• Knowledge of procurement processes, project management and document control.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
