Procurement Specialist – Service Operations (Gas Services)

About the role

This position ensures business continuity for the Service Operations procurement team within Gas Services in Mexico. The specialist will manage a service procurement portfolio of roughly 20 million PVO, covering the full procurement lifecycle from supplier selection to contract compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and select service suppliers, conduct market research and lead price and term negotiations.
• Develop and maintain long‑term relationships with key suppliers to secure reliable supply and drive cost savings.
• Process purchase requisitions, create purchase orders in SAP and ensure timely, accurate fulfillment of service orders.
• Resolve operational issues such as delivery discrepancies, invoicing errors and quality concerns.
• Administer supplier contracts, monitor performance against KPIs and report any gaps.
• Collaborate with finance to manage invoicing and timely payments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a buyer, strategic sourcing or procurement professional.
• Proven track record managing a significant procurement portfolio and executing purchase‑to‑pay processes.
