Procurement Trainee

About the role
Alstom is looking for a Procurement Trainee to join its sourcing team in Mexico City. You will support the optimisation of purchasing processes while gaining hands‑on experience with SAP and cross‑functional collaboration.
Key responsibilities
- Manage purchase orders and procurement data within SAP.
- Assist in developing and implementing sourcing strategies.
- Analyse procurement data to identify cost‑saving opportunities.
- Address and resolve procurement issues promptly.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Work closely with logistics, finance and project‑management teams to support procurement activities.
Required profile
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
- Conversational English.
- Understanding of procurement processes and sourcing strategies.
- Knowledge of SAP.
