Production Operator

About the role

The Production Operator works on the shop floor to ensure smooth manufacturing processes. You will operate equipment, handle materials, and support quality and safety standards in a fast‑paced production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Complete required production paperwork and documentation.
• Operate machinery, move material, verify dimensions, and perform quality inspections.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area and follow all safety regulations.
• Detect and report defective materials or abnormal conditions to the Production Supervisor.
• Perform operator‑level preventive maintenance, checks, and services on machines.
• Operate a forklift when certified.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to learn and use calipers and basic machine set‑up functions.
• Strong verbal communication and teamwork skills.
• Capability to read and interpret prints, production orders, safety rules, and maintenance instructions.
• Basic mathematical skills, including metric conversions.
• Problem‑solving ability to define issues, collect data, and draw conclusions.
