Production Service Systems Administrator (Level 2)

About the role

This hands‑on position combines deep Linux systems expertise with automation and cloud infrastructure knowledge. You will support Oracle’s large‑scale production environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, monitor, and optimize production systems and databases for global operations.
• Troubleshoot complex incidents and act as the escalation point for high‑impact issues.
• Support Oracle systems and database appliances, focusing on performance, availability, and automation.
• Participate in OS upgrades, patching, bug fixes, and infrastructure standardization.
• Develop and maintain runbooks, SOPs, and documentation.
• Provide rotational on‑call support to maintain 24/7 uptime.

Required profile

• 3+ years of Linux systems administration in cloud or large‑scale environments.
• Strong scripting abilities in Python and Bash/Shell.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals.
• Hands‑on experience with monitoring and automation tools.
• Proven experience supporting mission‑critical, highly available services.
