Project Engineer Level I – Subsea SURF Projects

About the role

We are looking for a Project Engineer Level I to support Subsea Umbilical Riser Flowline (SURF) projects and offshore operations under the guidance of senior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Apply installation engineering knowledge to SURF projects and offshore operations.
• Support onshore vessel mobilizations and equipment loadout.
• Ensure compliance and delivery of project plans aligned with engineering standards.
• Produce engineering deliverables such as calculations, specifications, drawings, sketches, installation task plans, procedures and technical notes.
• Assist in design development following design codes and engineering practices.
• Participate in technical meetings with clients, subcontractors and third parties.
• Provide engineering support to drawing office and multidisciplinary teams.
• Contribute to HSSEQ culture and adhere to safety and quality requirements.

Required profile

• Engineering degree (or proven experience in a similar role).
• 3+ years of relevant experience in Subsea Umbilical Riser Flowline (SURF) within the marine or oil & gas industry, preferably with offshore project execution.
• Familiarity with industry codes, standards and design guidelines.
• Ability to work within time, schedule and budget constraints.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Professional communication in English and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% on‑shore/off‑shore and complete required offshore training (BOSIET, UKOOA physical).
