Project Manager Assistant

About the role

As a Project Manager Assistant you will support the Execution PM team delivering power transformer projects for U.S. customers. You will act as a liaison between factories, engineering, logistics, commercial and execution PMs to keep projects on schedule and ensure all technical and commercial requirements are met.

Key responsibilities

• Support Execution PMs throughout the post‑order lifecycle, guiding projects through gates and milestones.
• Coordinate communication between factories, engineering, logistics and commercial teams to maintain visibility and resolve cross‑functional issues.
• Assist in managing customer requirements, updating documentation, tracking deliverables and ensuring compliance.
• Gather inputs for change management, prepare documentation, monitor impacts and help build proposals.
• Track project risks, open actions and critical deadlines, escalating issues and supporting mitigation plans.
• Maintain accurate records in internal Project Management systems for reliable reporting.
• Prepare internal reports, dashboards and status updates for PMs and management.
• Support project closure activities, ensuring all documentation, approvals and financial steps are completed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Project Management or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in project management, preferably in order execution.
• Strong organisational abilities and capacity to handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with internal teams and external customers.
• Knowledge of project management principles and a desire to develop deeper PM expertise.
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
