Public Relations (PR) Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Public Relations Specialist to strengthen Infinix Mexico’s brand communications and support product launch initiatives. The role will focus on building relationships with technology media, journalists, and key opinion leaders while coordinating with external PR agencies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with technology media, journalists, and KOLs.
• Manage day‑to‑day communication and project execution with external PR agencies.
• Support product launch campaigns, media events, and influencer activations.
• Identify, recruit, and manage high‑quality tech creators and media partners.
• Monitor campaign performance, provide post‑campaign analysis, and recommend optimisations.
• Coordinate cross‑functional projects with Marketing, Social Media, Gaming, and Sales teams.
• Review and ensure the quality of PR materials, media kits, and press releases.
• Maintain accurate media/KOL databases and campaign documentation.
• Assist with daily social media reputation management and escalation of potential issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism or a related field.
• 2‑5 years of experience in Public Relations, Influencer Marketing, or Brand Communications.
• Hands‑on experience working with technology media and tech KOLs.
• Experience in the smartphone, consumer electronics, or gaming industry is highly preferred.
• Fluent English (written and spoken) and excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
