Quality Analyst

About the role

Infosys is looking for a Quality Analyst to join its Mexico team and support enterprise and cloud‑based applications. The role focuses on functional testing, UI automation, and API testing while collaborating closely with product owners, developers, and business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and create detailed test scenarios, cases, and plans.
• Execute functional, integration, system, regression, and end‑to‑end testing.
• Design, develop, and maintain UI automation scripts using Playwright.
• Perform API testing and automation with Postman and Bruno.
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
• Validate production deployments and support release sign‑off activities.
• Maintain test evidence and ensure traceability of testing activities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in an Agile environment.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and automation coverage.

Required profile

• Strong functional and regression testing expertise.
• Hands‑on experience with Playwright for UI automation.
• Experience with Postman and Bruno for API testing.
• Proficiency in testing REST APIs, microservices, and integrations.
• Experience using Azure DevOps for test management and defect tracking.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with SQL and database validation.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited institution.
