Quality Manager

About the role

Lear Corporation is seeking a Quality Manager for its plant in Agua Prieta, Sonora. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with automotive quality standards, driving continuous improvement, and supporting customer‑related quality initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with plant quality systems such as IATF 16949 and VDA 6.3.
• Plan and coordinate performance‑improvement strategies, systematic and preventive actions.
• Prepare and manage quality documentation and records.
• Lead customer presentations on quality issues and handle engineering changes and complaints.
• Develop and monitor internal quality reports for management review.
• Support new project introductions while meeting SOP deadlines.
• Build and mentor a high‑performing quality team and foster a positive work environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Quality Manager or in a similar role within automotive manufacturing (electrical/electronic components).
• Strong knowledge of customer requirements, core quality tools, and problem‑solving methodologies.
• Fluent English communication skills.
