Quality Manager

About the role

The Quality Manager will lead the quality function within a manufacturing environment, focusing on aerospace and metal‑mechanical sectors. The role ensures compliance with international standards and drives continuous improvement across multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, conduct and oversee internal and external audits for AS9100, ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certifications.
• Maintain and improve quality management systems to meet industry standards.
• Utilize quality tools such as 8D, SPC, PPAP, FMEA and MSA to resolve product and process issues.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives using LEAN and SIX SIGMA methodologies.
• Manage quality data and processes within ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams, providing analysis, decision‑making and coaching.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronic or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in quality roles within manufacturing, preferably aerospace or metal‑mechanical.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
• Proven track record in audits and certifications.

Required skills

• AS9100, ISO 9001, ISO 13485 standards.
• Quality tools: 8D, SPC, PPAP, FMEA, MSA.
• Continuous improvement: LEAN, SIX SIGMA.
• ERP systems experience, preferably SAP.
