Regional Communications Senior Associate

About the role

The Regional Communications Senior Associate will lead the design and execution of cross‑country communication campaigns that translate GGGI’s programmatic results into compelling stories and knowledge products. Working closely with country teams, partnerships, monitoring‑evaluation‑learning (MEL) specialists and global communications, the role ensures that messaging is data‑driven, audience‑focused and aligned with the institute’s green‑growth agenda.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement regional communication strategies and narrative frameworks for multiple countries.
• Collaborate with country teams, technical staff and partners to gather results and craft tailored messages for diverse audiences.
• Produce high‑quality communication deliverables, including press releases, policy briefs, case studies, social media content and multimedia products.
• Strengthen media relations, donor communications and stakeholder engagement across the region.
• Monitor and analyse communication performance metrics to refine approaches and report impact.
• Ensure all outputs comply with GGGI’s branding, communication guidelines and confidentiality requirements.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in communications, journalism, public relations, international development or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in communications, preferably within international organizations or development contexts.
• Proven ability to translate technical information into clear, audience‑centred narratives.
• Strong collaborative skills and experience working with multi‑disciplinary, multicultural teams.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish or other regional languages is an asset.
