Regional Sales Manager – South & Southern Mexico

About the role

Join Stryker’s Orthopedics team in Mexico City and lead growth across Southern Mexico. This field‑based position focuses on driving commercial performance through direct and indirect sales channels, building strategic customer relationships, and supporting a high‑performing sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of four sales professionals to achieve and exceed regional sales targets for the Orthopedics portfolio.
• Develop and execute regional commercial strategies to increase market penetration and identify new business opportunities.
• Manage relationships with key customers, distributors, and healthcare institutions to support long‑term business development.
• Drive direct and indirect sales activities, ensuring proper execution of pricing, portfolio, and territory strategies.
• Forecast sales performance, monitor pipeline progression, and implement actions to meet business objectives.
• Partner with marketing, finance, operations, and clinical teams to align commercial priorities with customer needs.
• Support strategic projects such as robotic‑assisted technology initiatives and key account development.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, company policies, quality standards, and ethical business practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare, Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in medical devices or healthcare, with at least 2 years leading commercial or sales teams.
• Experience managing distributor networks and direct sales channels.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency and ability to travel within the South Mexico region (≈40% travel).
• Preferred: experience in Orthopedics or surgical medical device market and exposure to capital equipment or implant sales models.
