Remote Part-time Accountant for Diverse Clients

About the role

This remote, part‑time contractor position supports a portfolio of non‑profit and for‑profit organisations in Mexico. You will provide accurate bookkeeping, financial reporting and tax compliance while working independently in a flexible environment.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile client bank statements and maintain up‑to‑date bookkeeping records.
• Manage income and expense accounts to ensure proper financial tracking.
• Prepare financial reports based on accounting data and business activities.
• Handle tax filings, remittances and other compliance requirements.
• Support implementation, management and optimisation of accounting software, primarily QuickBooks Online.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in accounting, finance or a related field.
• Experience with non‑profit accounting is preferred.
• CPA certification or equivalent designation is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and ability to work independently.
