Remote WordPress Developer (GMT‑09 to GMT‑01)

About the role

Mettalo is looking for a skilled WordPress Developer to join its fast‑growing marketing agency. You will be responsible for building, optimizing, and maintaining conversion‑focused websites for home‑service businesses across the United States, working remotely with a required overlap of at least five hours with EST.

Key responsibilities

• Build responsive WordPress sites using Elementor, following design templates and SOPs.
• Handle site migrations, domain transfers, DNS configuration, email setup, and third‑party integrations (CRM, Zapier, etc.).
• Implement page‑speed optimizations: image compression, lazy loading, caching, CDN, and core web vitals.
• Perform regular website maintenance: content updates, layout changes, plugin updates, and bug fixes.
• Collaborate with the SEO team on design tweaks and client communication when needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience with WordPress and Elementor.
• Strong eye for UI design and ability to follow brand guidelines.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently within a remote environment.
