Restaurant Supervisor – Mexico City

About the role

The Restaurant Supervisor supports daily restaurant operations at Hyde, a festival‑inspired venue in Mexico City. The role ensures every guest enjoys an authentic, smooth, and memorable experience that reflects Hyde’s vibrant, music‑centric lifestyle.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the daily restaurant operation during assigned shifts, maintaining warm, efficient, and attentive service.
• Oversee guest welcome, table allocation, order taking, food and beverage delivery, payment processing, and farewells.
• Maintain service sequence, grooming standards, table setup, and cleanliness throughout the floor.
• Coordinate with kitchen, bar, and stewarding to ensure proper timing and quality of service.
• Handle guest complaints, feedback, and special requests, escalating to the Restaurant Manager when needed.
• Support daily briefings, communicate promotions, menu changes, and operational priorities.
• Assist in training servers, runners, bussers, hosts, and other service team members.
• Supervise proper use of POS systems, order entry, payments, and closing procedures.
• Review cleanliness, organization, and availability of operating equipment and service supplies.

Required profile

• Energetic, hands‑on leader with strong floor presence.
• Experience in high‑volume restaurant environments; Japanese food service experience is a plus.
• Genuine service attitude and ability to anticipate guest and team needs.
• Effective communication with kitchen, bar, and management.
