About the role
Omica.ai is seeking a Robotics Engineer to join its on‑site team in Mexico City. You will help design, develop, and integrate robotic systems that streamline clinical and laboratory workflows in oncology settings, contributing directly to AI‑enabled cancer care.
Key responsibilities
- Model, prototype, and implement robotic components for medical and lab environments.
- Develop, test, and maintain control and automation software.
- Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and healthcare partners to ensure seamless system integration.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues, optimizing reliability and safety.
- Document designs, test results, and operational procedures.
Required profile
- Strong foundation in robotics with hands‑on experience designing and integrating robotic systems.
- Advanced analytical skills for problem‑solving, system optimization, and performance evaluation.
- Experience in process automation to improve efficiency and repeatability.
- Excellent communication skills for multidisciplinary collaboration.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Ability to work on‑site in Mexico City and thrive in a mission‑driven, diverse team.
