Senior Finance Manager – Project Finance Lead (Manufacturing)

About the role

We are building a state‑of‑the‑art greenfield manufacturing facility in Tlaxcala, Mexico, and need a senior finance professional to lead the financial governance of the project. As the Project Finance Lead, you will act as the strategic financial partner to the Project Manager, ensuring the project meets its financial targets while complying with all internal and external regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive financial information and analysis to support project decision‑making.
• Monitor project budgets, cash flow, and timelines, ensuring adherence to financial plans.
• Design and maintain internal control systems to protect assets and prevent fraud.
• Lead contract negotiations, ensuring favorable financial terms.
• Identify, report, and mitigate financial risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, statutory, and internal governance frameworks.
• Prepare and present financial performance reports, KPIs, and statutory filings.
• Coordinate audits, banking relationships, and interactions with Group Finance.

Required profile

• Qualified Accounting Professional (CA, CPA, CMA) or postgraduate degree in Finance/Accounting/Business.
• 8‑12 years of finance experience in manufacturing, preferably FMCG.
• Proven track record in project finance, financial systems setup, and risk management.
• Fluent in Spanish and English; additional languages a plus.
