Senior Front End Engineer

About the role

Peek is looking for a Senior Front End Engineer to join ConnectNGo, building ticketing, point‑of‑sale and back‑office tools for venues and attractions. The role is remote‑first and focuses on creating large‑scale Vue/Nuxt applications while leveraging AI‑assisted development.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Vue 3/Nuxt front‑end applications for ticketing, POS and configuration tools.
• Create and maintain shared SDKs, component libraries and boilerplate used across frontend teams.
• Set up agent‑assisted AI workflows, review code before merge, and ensure high test coverage.
• Collaborate with product and design to clarify specifications and push back when needed.

Required profile

• 5+ years of frontend development experience, including at least 2 years with Vue and TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of component architecture, state management (Pinia/Vuex) and accessibility.
• Daily use of AI coding tools with ability to critically review AI‑generated code.
• Clear communicator who can scope ambiguous work and flag spec gaps.

Required skills

• Vue 3 (and some Vue 2), TypeScript, Nuxt, Vite
• Pinia or Vuex, REST API consumption via shared SDKs
• Testing with Vitest and Vue Test Utils
• CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI) and Docker container deployments
• AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Cursor or Codex
