Senior Medical Science Liaison – Immunology

About the role

The Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL) in Immunology will act as a scientific bridge between GSK and external medical experts. This field‑based position focuses on building peer‑to‑peer relationships, delivering non‑promotional scientific information, and supporting clinical development initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scientific collaborations with key opinion leaders in immunology and related therapeutic areas.
• Serve as the clinical and medical content expert for GSK’s research compounds, ensuring evidence‑based exchanges.
• Support investigator‑sponsored, collaborative, and GSK‑sponsored studies, including site identification and trial recruitment.
• Work within cross‑functional matrix teams (Medical Affairs, HEOR, Commercial, etc.) to align access strategies and compliant partnerships.
• Gather, consolidate, and communicate external insights to shape Medical Affairs strategies and inform GSK’s scientific and clinical plans.
• Adhere strictly to all regulatory, SOP, and GSK policy requirements.

Required profile

• University degree in medicine, pharmacy, life sciences or equivalent clinical/scientific qualification.
• Significant experience as a Medical Science Liaison in the pharmaceutical industry.
• High proficiency in English.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
