Senior Project Manager

About the role

Vonage is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex, cross‑functional initiatives that drive its communications API business forward. You will operate within the central PMO, partnering with senior leaders across Product, Engineering, Operations, and Business functions to ensure strategic projects are delivered on time, on budget, and with high quality.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives and deliverables in alignment with sponsors and senior stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines and roadmaps for multi‑disciplinary initiatives.
• Drive projects autonomously through critical phases, proactively managing risks, issues and dependencies.
• Track and report on milestones, status, risks and budget, providing clear visibility to all parties.
• Select and tailor delivery approaches (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, hybrid) to fit each project’s needs.
• Lead retrospectives, capture lessons learned and champion continuous improvement.
• Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, resolve conflicts and secure alignment on complex decisions.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading large‑scale, cross‑functional projects in a technology or communications environment.
• Strong ability to work independently, influence senior leaders and act as a trusted advisor.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of crafting persuasive updates and presentations.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering projects on schedule and within budget.
