Senior Recruiter

About the role

Platzi is looking for a Senior Recruiter to lead end‑to‑end hiring for mid‑to‑senior and specialized positions. You will work closely with hiring leaders, build talent pipelines, and ensure a high‑quality, efficient hiring process, based in either CDMX or Bogota.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full hiring process from intake to offer and closure.
• Partner with hiring leaders to define the ideal profile and challenge assumptions.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical roles before they become urgent.
• Conduct structured interviews and drive timely decision‑making.
• Own time‑to‑fill and quality‑of‑hire metrics for your area.
• Negotiate offers, focusing on candidate motivations beyond compensation.
• Identify and fix failing processes, not just push more candidates through.
• Deeply understand the why behind each requisition and push back on ambiguity.

Required profile

• 3‑5+ years of full‑cycle recruiting experience, preferably for mid‑to‑senior or specialized roles.
• Comfortable owning and designing recruitment processes.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Based in Mexico City (CDMX) or Bogota (BOG).
