Senior SAP Integration Engineer

About the role

EPAM is looking for an experienced Senior SAP Integration Engineer to design, govern, and implement end‑to‑end integration solutions across SAP and non‑SAP ecosystems. You will work with hybrid architectures that combine SAP‑native tools and external platforms, ensuring scalable, resilient, and future‑proof integrations.

Key responsibilities

• Define and govern enterprise integration architecture for SAP and non‑SAP systems.
• Design scalable, reusable integration solutions using SAP BTP Integration Suite, Event Mesh, API Management and external technologies such as Kafka, Azure APIs, AWS, and GCP.
• Enforce Clean Core principles in S/4HANA (On‑Premise and RISE) by minimizing core modifications.
• Lead event‑driven architecture design and API strategy, including lifecycle governance.
• Support real‑time, batch, file‑based, and EDI integration scenarios.
• Collaborate with SAP functional, development, cloud, and data teams to ensure alignment.
• Provide technical leadership during implementation and evaluate new integration technologies.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience as an SAP Integration Engineer in complex enterprise environments.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP S/4HANA (On‑Premise and RISE with SAP).
• Strong architectural mindset and deep knowledge of integration patterns.
