Senior Solution Consultant - Endpoint Security

About the role

Trellix, a global cybersecurity leader, is hiring a Senior Solution Consultant (Cybersecurity Engineer) for its Professional Services Delivery team, working remotely from Mexico. The consultant supports customers in planning, deploying, migrating, operating and sustaining endpoint and network security systems, with a focus on Network Detection and Response. The role reports to a manager and acts as a subject-matter expert advising customers on cybersecurity matters.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the overall customer experience and build strong customer relationships
• Deploy, integrate and operationalize Trellix's Network Detection and Response capabilities across enterprise customers
• Create technical project, schedule, test, deployment and migration plans
• Write technical documentation and briefings, and lead or take part in technical exchange meetings
• Develop engineering artifacts such as system design diagrams, data flow diagrams, test plans and reports
• Participate in testing, debugging, certification, accreditation, access control and deployment planning and execution
• Analyze technical requirements, configure and tune systems, develop SOPs and playbooks, and monitor system health
• Lead or take part in troubleshooting, log reviews and problem resolution, and report technical and operational issues

Required profile

• 5+ years of technical experience in cybersecurity operations, engineering, systems engineering and/or Windows and Linux administration
• Experience with enterprise network planning, deployment, user migration and operations
• B.S. or higher in a related technical field (computer science, information technology or engineering)
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with customers and stakeholders

Required skills

• Active Directory, databases, virtualization, cloud services (AWS, Azure) and enterprise networks
• Network security solutions, protocols and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with cyber threat identification, management, mitigation and response
