Senior Tax Manager – Northern Cone (Mexico City)

About the role

Beiersdorf is seeking a Senior Tax Manager to lead tax compliance for its Northern Cone affiliates. Based in Mexico City, you will act as the primary liaison between local teams, external advisors, and regional stakeholders, ensuring consistent and accurate tax reporting across multiple countries.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily interactions with local tax teams and advisors to prepare and review tax compliance filings.
• Challenge, steer, and standardise execution of tax compliance processes across the region.
• Monitor key performance indicators and communicate results to regional leadership.
• Support local teams with ad‑hoc tax authority requests and ensure adherence to group standards.
• Oversee internal and external tax audits, providing guidance and documentation as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of tax experience in multinational corporations or advisory firms.
• Strong knowledge of income tax, VAT, withholding tax, advance payments, and mandatory disclosure regulations.
• Experience with cross‑border transactions, double‑tax treaties and transfer‑pricing rules.
• Proven ability to coordinate teams across different countries.
• Fluent English for business communication.
