SEO Strategist – Remote

About the role

We are looking for an experienced SEO Strategist to join our U.S.-based digital marketing team. You will combine technical SEO, content strategy, and AI‑driven search optimization to boost client visibility and drive measurable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive SEO and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) strategies aligned with client goals.
• Conduct technical SEO audits and translate findings into actionable implementation plans.
• Perform keyword research, search intent analysis, semantic clustering, and content strategy development.
• Optimize websites for traditional search engines and AI‑powered search experiences.
• Identify opportunities through structured data, schema markup, and entity optimization.
• Analyze competitors across both traditional and AI‑generated search results.
• Design backlink acquisition strategies and support digital PR initiatives.
• Collaborate with content, UX, and development teams to improve performance and conversions.
• Support business development by participating in discovery sessions and proposal creation.
• Prepare executive‑level reports linking SEO performance to business outcomes.
• Stay up‑to‑date with evolving SEO trends and AI search technologies.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in an SEO agency environment.
• Proven track record of improving organic rankings, traffic, and overall search performance.
• Experience managing multiple client accounts and presenting strategic recommendations.
• Advanced English communication skills; Spanish proficiency required.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, client‑facing environment.

Required skills

• Technical SEO (Core Web Vitals, schema markup, crawl/index management, structured data).
• Hands‑on experience with GA4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog.
• Keyword research, search intent analysis, and content optimization.
• Familiarity with AI‑driven search optimization (GEO) and modern SEO best practices.
