Shift Doctor – Employee Health & Well‑Being (Juarez)

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a licensed medical doctor to join its Employee Health & Well‑Being team at the Salvarcar manufacturing site in Ciudad Juarez. The Shift Doctor will provide on‑site medical care for production employees working the first shift, ensuring occupational health standards are met and supporting overall employee well‑being.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with shift nurses to deliver comprehensive patient care, including medical surveillance, new‑hire examinations, and general health services.
• Manage medication and medical‑supply inventory, reporting any discrepancies to the shift lead.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure timely documentation in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
• Provide care for occupational injury or illness incidents and support injury/illness reporting to business leaders.
• Coordinate with Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), Human Resources, Facilities, and site leadership to implement occupational health programs and health‑promotion activities.
• Act as an advocate for employee health, participating in wellness campaigns and serving as a visible health ambassador on the shift.

Required profile

• Licensed medical doctor with a valid medical degree.
• Experience in occupational or employee health preferred.
• Ability to work the first shift in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication skills to interact with nurses, EHS, HR, and external agencies such as IMSS.
• Familiarity with local health regulations and compliance requirements.
