Site Procurement Manager – Operations

About the role

Amazon Mexico is looking for a Site Procurement Manager to lead procurement operations for a fulfillment site. The role focuses on sourcing direct and indirect products and services, managing vendors, contracts, and performance metrics while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Align with the Regional Procurement Manager to deliver end‑to‑end procurement operations for the site, including non‑inventory services and supplier management.
• Develop and execute category sourcing strategies, lead cross‑functional sourcing teams, negotiate contracts, and drive cost‑of‑ownership improvements.
• Monitor and report on supplier performance, KPI metrics, and weekly/monthly service milestones to Country Procurement and key stakeholders.
• Lead the operational Procure‑to‑Pay process, manage forecast analysis, and support innovation projects and expediting as needed.
• Collaborate with internal customers, Finance, and Procurement Operations to define savings targets, value metrics, and budget alignment.
• Oversee project management activities and build category metrics models to track performance.

Required profile

• Self‑starter with strong critical‑thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communicator capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
• Proven experience in strategic sourcing, vendor management, contract negotiation, and procurement operations.
• Ability to work independently and lead peer teams in a fast‑changing environment.
