Site Procurement Manager – Operations

About the role

Amazon Mexico is looking for a Site Procurement Manager to lead procurement operations for a fulfillment site. The role focuses on sourcing direct and indirect products and services, managing vendor relationships, and driving cost‑effective solutions in a fast‑moving environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute category sourcing strategies for both direct and indirect spend.
• Lead cross‑functional strategic sourcing teams, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier performance.
• Oversee Procure‑to‑Pay processes, forecast analysis, and KPI reporting for the site.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, finance, and procurement operations to align budget targets and measure savings.
• Manage vendor performance, monitor compliance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Report weekly and monthly service performance, project status, and improvement actions to country procurement leadership.

Required profile

• Proven experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, and supplier management.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret forecast data and performance metrics.
• Effective communicator capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
• Self‑starter with a creative, critical‑thinking mindset and ability to thrive in ambiguous environments.
