Social & Community Impact Lead, LatAm

About the role

The Social & Community Impact (SCI) Lead will join Nike’s SCI Americas team in Mexico City, reporting to the Director of Future of Youth Sport Americas. The role drives Nike’s Future of Youth Sport strategy across the region, partnering with internal teams and external community and sport organizations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of the Future of Youth Sport strategy in Mexico City through community investments and coach‑training initiatives.
• Manage relationships with NGOs, government agencies, educational institutions, and sport partners.
• Oversee budget planning, event support, and coordination with grantees from SCI‑led portfolios.
• Collaborate with Brand Marketing, Sports Marketing, CaSA Distributors, Nike Direct, and other cross‑functional teams.
• Provide strategic guidance to ensure alignment with corporate objectives and drive local decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in corporate social responsibility, community development, or purpose‑brand integration.
• Proven partner and portfolio management experience in sectors such as NGOs, government, education, sport, or youth development.
• Experience leading collective‑action or systems‑change initiatives.
• Strong communication, analytical, and presentation skills; fluency in English.
• Ability to operate in a large, matrixed organization and travel domestically and internationally (≈10%).
