Software Engineer – Logistics Platform

About the role
John Deere is looking for a Software Engineer to join the Worldwide Logistics (WWL) Product Team in Torreon. You will help build and maintain the digital solutions that enable efficient shipment of materials and products across our global supply chain.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver Java‑based web applications and REST APIs that support logistics enablement.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional team members in an Agile environment to resolve technical issues.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and GitHub Actions.
- Participate in database design and SQL development for DB2, PostgreSQL, or similar systems.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- At least one year of professional experience in Java web development and REST API design.
- AWS Practitioner certification.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
- Legal right to work in Mexico and an up‑to‑date tax situation certificate.
