Solution Engineer - Cybersecurity & Fraud Prevention

About the role

Cleafy is looking for a Solution Engineer to help banks and financial institutions detect and mitigate fraud before it happens. You will act as a trusted advisor to CISOs, heads of fraud management, and security leaders, translating complex security challenges into actionable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate daily with sales, customer success, product marketing, and product teams.
• Engage with CISOs to address perimeter security, external attack mitigation, and real‑time fraud management.
• Lead technical discovery calls, solution demos, and Proof‑of‑Concepts, showcasing integration with SIEM, SOAR, IAM/CIAM, WAF, ADC and other enterprise security tools.
• Conduct deep‑dive technology meetings and represent Cleafy at industry events and security roundtables.
• Provide market insights, customer feedback, and contribute to RFI/RFP responses and security assessments.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in pre‑sales, sales engineering, customer success, professional services, or security consulting focused on enterprise cybersecurity, fraud prevention or digital risk.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish; Portuguese is a plus.
• Comfortable speaking publicly at cybersecurity conferences and industry panels.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with enterprise security stacks: SIEM, SOAR, IAM/CIAM, WAF, ADC, network security solutions.
• Deep understanding of cyber threats, malware, fraud attack chains and modern security architectures.
• Ability to articulate security‑driven fraud reduction strategies to technical and non‑technical audiences.
