Sourcing Specialist

About the role

The Sourcing Specialist is responsible for managing relationships with large suppliers and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) partners. You will negotiate contracts, ensure compliance with service level agreements, and act as the primary point of contact for any service issues, all while maintaining internal client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate with dedicated suppliers according to company policies to secure optimal contractual terms.
• Provide oversight and ensure BPO compliance with SLAs, handling service level issues and resolutions.
• Influence the quality of work within your team and across related functions.
• Facilitate standards, offer guidance within established policies, and reorganize tasks as situations evolve.
• Develop strong customer relationships and serve as the interface between internal customers and the supplier.
• Explain technical information clearly to non‑technical stakeholders.

Required profile

• Basic experience in sourcing and supplier management.
• Education comparable to a Bachelor’s degree or a high school diploma with relevant experience.
• Good understanding of key business drivers and how your team’s work integrates with others.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially for customer‑facing interactions.
• Experience in the automotive or metal‑mechanic industry is a plus.
