Store Manager – Cruise Retail (Onboard)

About the role

As a Store Manager for Harding’s cruise retail operation you will lead a boutique store on board a world‑class cruise liner. The role combines retail, hospitality and travel, with 4‑6 months at sea followed by short home breaks. You will be responsible for delivering memorable guest experiences while driving commercial performance in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a diverse international team, setting clear expectations and fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Drive sales, profit and inventory targets while maintaining brand standards.
• Manage day‑to‑day store operations, including merchandising, stock replenishment and visual presentation.
• Collaborate closely with cruise line partners, premium brand partners and onboard stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance the onboard shopping experience.
• Prepare regular performance reports and ensure compliance with health, safety and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Store Manager or concessions leader in a retail or hospitality setting.
• Willingness to work 4‑6 months at sea with periodic home breaks.
• Strong commercial instinct combined with inspirational people leadership.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, multicultural environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
