About the role
EBANX is seeking a Business Development Manager based in Mexico to lead enterprise‑level merchant acquisition across digital goods, e‑commerce and marketplaces. You will drive the company’s LATAM expansion by delivering tailored payment solutions that enable merchants to scale globally.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, develop and close new business opportunities with enterprise merchants, expanding market presence and revenue.
- Build and execute strategic plans to penetrate new verticals, regions and customer segments.
- Generate leads, conduct market research and establish relationships with key stakeholders.
- Drive adoption of EBANX payment solutions and position the company as a preferred partner.
- Collaborate with GTM, product, marketing, merchant success, risk, legal and finance teams to ensure seamless deal execution and onboarding.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing and service agreements aligned with business goals.
- Track pipeline progression and performance metrics within Salesforce.com.
- Provide market insights to leadership to shape strategy and refine go‑to‑market approaches.
Required profile
- Proven experience in business development or strategic sales with global enterprise accounts.
- Background in the payments industry with a strong track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
- Deep knowledge of the merchant payment ecosystem, e‑commerce platforms and market trends.
Required skills
- Salesforce.com (pipeline and performance tracking).
