Supply Chain Planner

About the role

The Supply Chain Planner is responsible for creating weekly and monthly supply‑demand forecasts for assigned product categories, ensuring alignment with sales across all distribution channels and maintaining target service levels. The role also manages local purchasing of both inventory and non‑inventory items and works closely with sourcing, logistics, sales and corporate planning teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop weekly and monthly supply‑demand analysis and forecasts to match sales targets.
• Generate purchase order requisitions for local inventory and non‑inventory items.
• Collaborate with Sourcing to identify vendors, evaluate bids, and select contracts.
• Coordinate with internal and external partners to ensure on‑time production and delivery.
• Monitor low‑rotation and obsolete items, handling disposition of promotional, award and apparel stock.
• Manage inventory moves, transfers and assembly with distribution centers.
• Produce and present department KPIs and metrics for regular meetings.
• Provide backup support for planning activities as needed.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in manufacturing planning, purchasing, distribution or logistics.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a data‑driven decision‑making approach.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross‑functional teamwork.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP/MRP/DRP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills: Word, Excel, Access and Project.
• Experience in large‑scale data analysis.
