Tax Manager – Corporate Tax Strategy

About the role

Samsung Electronics México is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to lead the development and execution of tax strategies that minimize liabilities while ensuring full compliance with local, national, and international regulations. You will be a key partner to senior leadership, providing insight and guidance on complex tax matters.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement tax strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Oversee preparation and timely filing of corporate tax returns.
• Conduct tax audits, identify risks, and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with external auditors, tax advisors, and legal counsel on complex issues.
• Monitor legislative changes and advise internal stakeholders.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of tax professionals.
• Prepare detailed tax reports and present analyses to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in tax management, preferably in a consulting environment.
• Strong knowledge of corporate tax laws, transfer pricing, and international tax regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
