Technical Perfumery Reformulation Manager

About the role

IFF, a global leader in flavors, fragrances, food ingredients and health & biosciences, is hiring a Technical Perfumery Reformulation Manager based in Tlalnepantla on a hybrid working scheme. The manager optimises the resources and results of the reformulation activities carried out each year to protect the business, leading reformulation projects across 8,000+ fragrance formulas worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage reformulation projects across 8,000+ fragrance formulas globally.
• Drive initiatives on regulatory compliance, sustainability, supply continuity and cost optimization.
• Coordinate and monitor reformulation activities to ensure business continuity and customer satisfaction.
• Support crisis management by developing proactive solutions to raw material supply disruptions.
• Partner with Technical Perfumers to prioritize and execute reformulation projects.
• Develop dashboards, KPIs and reporting tools to track project status and business impact.
• Optimize ingredient utilization and support portfolio simplification.
• Lead and mentor Reformulation Project Coordinators, managing prioritization and workload.
• Collaborate with IT and cross-functional teams to improve processes, data quality and systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Perfumery or a related scientific discipline.
• Desirable: experience in fragrance development, reformulation or technical project management.
• Desirable: knowledge of fragrance raw materials and formulation processes.
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple complex projects at once.
• Experience in cross-functional and global environments.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
