Technical Sales Executive – Agricultural Sector

About the role

Orbia Advance Corporation, a global company with operations in 41 countries and brands such as Netafim, Alphagary and Wavin, is looking for a Technical Sales Executive in San Luis Potosí. The role focuses on growing sales through new customer acquisition, managing the assigned customer portfolio and maintaining weekly contact with clients.

Key responsibilities

• Increase sales by prospecting and acquiring new customers.
• Manage the customer portfolio, promoting retention and growth through upselling.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and act as the first point of contact for issues.
• Maintain weekly interaction with clients through visits, calls and follow-up.
• Prepare quotations and follow up on business opportunities.
• Develop the assigned portfolio to meet commercial targets.

Required profile

• Degree or engineering degree in Agronomy, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• Experience as a commercial agronomist or in technical sales within the agricultural sector.
• Preferred knowledge and experience with sugarcane and/or citrus crops.
• English desirable.
• Availability to travel 3 to 4 days per week between San Luis Potosí and Tamaulipas.

Required skills

• Negotiation skills, customer orientation and results focus.
• Training in irrigation systems desirable.
