Technology & Commercial Contracts Attorney

About the role

This is a remote, project‑based opportunity for an experienced attorney specialized in technology and commercial contracts. You will work directly with a legal technology platform that connects top‑tier lawyers with fast‑growing tech companies, allowing you to select assignments that match your expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and redline a variety of commercial agreements, including SaaS contracts, vendor and supplier agreements, NDAs, data processing agreements, and master services agreements.
• Provide counsel on contract terms, risk exposure, intellectual property protection, and negotiation strategies for technology clients.
• Deliver high‑quality, polished legal documents within tight turnaround times demanded by scaling businesses.
• Self‑select projects through an on‑demand client portal and manage your own schedule.

Required profile

• Licensed Mexican attorney (Cédula Profesional Federal) in good standing.
• Registered with the SAT and able to issue valid fiscal invoices (CFDI) for professional services.
• Active professional liability (malpractice) insurance.
• Proven experience drafting and negotiating technology‑focused commercial contracts.

Required skills

• Contract drafting and review.
• Knowledge of SaaS, data protection, and intellectual property law.
• Ability to assess commercial risk and advise on mitigation.
