Head of Investigations

About the role

Orbia Advance Corporation is looking for a Head of Investigations to lead and oversee its global internal investigations program. The role ensures that reports received through the Ethics Helpline and other channels are handled effectively and in a timely way, covering management, analysis, resolution and follow-up. It also takes part in audit engagements related to control improvement and potential cost savings, and supports the company's commitment to integrity by investigating misconduct and working with key stakeholders to promote ethical business conduct.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the internal investigations program across all Business Groups and geographies.
• Manage Ethics Helpline cases, including triage, assignment, execution, monitoring, resolution, communication and follow-up.
• Conduct and/or supervise complex investigations on ethics, fraud, misconduct, retaliation and other matters requested by management and the Audit Committee.
• Prepare detailed investigation reports with root cause analysis, actionable recommendations and supporting documentation.
• Ensure clear communication of investigation steps, activities and outcomes to management and the Audit Committee.
• Partner with Legal, People, Ethics & Compliance and Audit teams to coordinate investigations and keep disciplinary measures consistent.
• Deliver investigation training and coaching to business-aligned investigators and cross-functional partners.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in investigations, including 3+ years in a multinational setting.
• Demonstrated success leading sensitive investigations in complex, global environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Law or a related field.
• Fluent English and Spanish required; Portuguese is a strong plus.
• Able to manage sensitive information remotely and travel frequently for on-site investigations.

Required skills

• Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) or equivalent strongly preferred.
• Experience managing Ethics Helpline or case management platforms is a plus.
