About the role
Bosch Group is looking for a Metrology Technician to join its team in Celaya. The role involves ensuring the quality and accuracy of parts through precise measurement and analysis, supporting production and engineering processes.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate incoming material and identify defective parts.
- Support failure analysis by providing measurement data.
- Develop and execute measurement programs for coordinate‑measuring machines (CMM).
- Perform equipment verification, such as checking CMM pins.
- Measure components using calipers, micrometers, and measuring microscopes.
- Interpret blueprints and drawings to apply acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and work rotating three‑shift schedules.
Required profile
- Willingness to work rotating three‑shift schedules.
- Strong teamwork orientation.
Required skills
- Coordinate‑Measuring Machine (CMM) programming and operation.
- Use of calipers, micrometers, and measuring microscopes.
- Verification of CMM accessories (e.g., pins).
- Interpretation of technical drawings and specifications.
