Training Specialist I – Inventory Control

About the role

The Training Specialist I will design, deliver and evaluate technical training for manufacturing employees, focusing on inventory control processes and related standards. The role supports both first and second shift teams, ensuring that new hires and existing staff acquire the skills needed to meet production and quality goals.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver classroom and on‑the‑job training for up to 10 core manufacturing programs.
• Develop lesson plans, instructor notes, handouts and Just‑In‑Time (JIT) modules using appropriate software.
• Maintain accurate training records, test scores, certifications and re‑certifications in the training database.
• Assess training effectiveness through evaluations, quizzes, hands‑on assessments and performance metrics.
• Identify skill gaps, propose training solutions and provide post‑class support.
• Ensure all training activities comply with ISO, IPC and company procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, or a related field (preferred).
• 1–3 years of experience delivering technical or manufacturing training.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing concepts, inventory control, IPC standards and ISO procedures.
