Vendor Solutions Consultant – Cloud & AI Vendor Management

About the role

The Vendor Solutions Consultant will partner with Google Cloud leadership to drive the Vendor Management Office roadmap, focusing on AI and cloud engineering services. You will translate emerging AI capabilities into scalable vendor solutions and commercial models while ensuring compliance and operational safety.

Key responsibilities

• Advise senior leadership on vendor strategy and procurement for AI and cloud engineering projects.
• Design and implement efficient, scalable operating structures for vendor management.
• Oversee compliance, risk, and operational safety across global vendor engagements.
• Develop commercial models such as pay‑per‑unit and managed services for AI‑driven solutions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and external partners to align vendor performance with business goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 + years in technical project management or customer‑facing roles.
• 8 + years in transformation consulting within engineering services and AI data workflows.
• 5 + years leading vendor strategy and operations for software development projects.
• Proven experience in vendor management/operations.
• Strong ability to build executive‑level relationships and communicate cross‑functionally.
